| "I Know If You've Read Your Mail" | ||
Quickspace's Promo-pak is a "digital marketing package." You can view it online, save it to your computer, print it as a PDF document, or download attachments, like spreadsheets or rent rolls. I like Chamzuk's description of his system as "broker proof." For example, if you try to upload a huge image file, Quickspace automatically reduces it to a practical size for viewing on the web. After creating your electronic brochure, you can then upload an e-mail list to Quickspace and send a short HTML announcement to your clients. Now life gets interesting. With Quickspace's tracking features, you can monitor in real time which of your clients has opened your e-mail and which has clicked through to the brochure and when. That's pretty cool information. It kind of reminds me of Caller ID. You know more about your clients than they probably think that you know. So how do you capitalize on this knowledge? What subject line causes clients to open your e-mail? What causes them to click through to the brochure? What information do they download most frequently? In theory, we'll all get better at target marketing and waste less time. But don't expect your inbox to shrink any time soon! --Peter Pike |
