1. Headline... "Kranzco Realty—Using the Web to Promote Business" Launched in October 1995, this pioneer REIT site markets space on the web. You’ll find vacancy information, pictures and layouts for its 38 shopping centers across 7 states from Pennsylvania to Connecticut.

2. Report... "Finding Office Space on the Web in New York City" Is the web a practical tool for locating space? Although it can help, it will not replace a good broker or consultant any time soon.

3. New and Notable... ICSC, the International Council of Shopping Centers, has produced a state of-the-art site for trade associations. It’s still partially under development, but check it out. Codemer, a Belgian brokerage firm, features good market information on Brussels. Spaulding & Slye, which provides integrated services in both Boston and Washington, D.C., is now online. The Irvine Company, developer of the Irvine Ranch in Orange County, emphasizes residential development. REI-NET, a network of commercial real estate information providers, features addresses and contacts for various publications. *Find these sites using Text Search by entering a complete or partial word.*

4. Future Site Announcements... CRE·NET, GE Capital’s Commercial Real Estate Network, is committed to opening its new listing service on June 19. Trammell Crow Company, "the second largest commercial real estate firm in the U.S.," states that they will open a site in June. Both sites are currently listed in PikeNet as "Not Rated."
