New and Notable... Although still partially under development, Trammell Crow launched its new site on Monday, August 26. Most of the site describes the firm's capabilities, but to find properties for sale, click Services and then Investment Sales. The TriNet REIT specializes in office and industrial properties net leased to corporations nationwide. Like most REIT sites it is oriented both to stock market investors and real estate professionals. Factory Stores of America is a REIT which owns and operates factory outlet centers in 22 states. Based in Pennsylvania, the Crown America Realty Trust REIT owns regional shopping malls in 8 eastern states. Still under construction is its section on Land & Leasing Opportunities. PM Realty's site provides general information about the company's services. The Jamesan Group offers real estate technology training and consulting services nationwide with access to its entire staff online. SHIB, Senior Housing Investment Brokerage, offers a nationwide listing service based upon its proprietary database of 60,000 senior housing and long term care facilities. Kennedy Wilson International describes its auction and sealed bid services, but has little information on commercial auctions available. Stroud Corporation has upgraded its site and, under Michael DeMarcay's leadership, is building a database of St. Petersburg office space available in association with St. Petersburg Progress, Inc. New BOMA chapters online: St. Louis, San Diego and Austin. *Find these sites by entering a complete or partial word in the text search box on the PikeNet home page.* 3. Web Growth... In 1993 there were 8,700 registered domain names. By July 1996, that figure had risen to 500,000, and InterNIC now registers 50,000 new domains each month. 4. Oops... The Kidder Mathews & Segner site features a "home page" that's 16 pages long. Wow, "Home Sweet Home." Guess they don't want you to leave Seattle. 5. Success Stories...
