(Click Global Services, then Market Information.) Posting quality research on the Internet is a great way to build strong brand identity for a business. Headquartered in London, Knight Frank has offices in 23 countries. 3. NEW AND NOTABLE. Prentiss Properties is a REIT specializing in office and industrial properties nationally presents extensive information on a 5-store Florida offering with an April 24, 1997, deadline. Boston-based Property & Portfolio Research, Inc. (PPR) specializes in real estate portfolio strategies for pension fund investors. The Korpacz Organization provides appraisal, counseling and publishing services from Hagerstown, Maryland. Shopping Center Network is the web site for the Shopping Center Digest and the Directory of Major Malls published by Murray Shor. The Signal Group provides development consulting and negotiation strategies from Portland, Maine. The Commission Companion offers software for the complex task of tracking commissions for lease and sales transactions and consulting fees. Town & Country Trust, based in Baltimore, is a REIT specializing in multifamily residential properties in the mid-Atlantic region. Walden Residential Properties is a REIT specializing in garden apartment communities in from Texas to Florida. American Title Company in California will soon offer earthquake maps pinpointing the location of a property for compliance with Alquist-Priolo. 4. NYU RE TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE. Held March 21 and 22, this conference included some fascinating exhibitors. CREOL, Commercial Real Estate On-Line, previewed an extraordinary retail real estate information system for New Jersey and New York. Complete with building-by-building, tenant-by-tenant tracking, this service will be a boon to asset managers, developers and brokers. And it will substantially reduce the time required for due diligence. According to CEO Stephen J. Oder, beta testing is scheduled soon. CTI Limited, based in Dallas, (no web site yet) demonstrated access to its property management system using a standard web browser. According to Rex W. McDowell (972-776-3604), this is the first property management application that allows a user to query a property management database system using the web.
