1. Tip of the Week: Plotting Multiple Locations... Need to generate a map designating multiple locations? Sign up for MyMapQuest and try MapQuest's new service. It doesn't actually search for and plot each address, just the first one. After that, assuming you know the other locations, you plot the locations by clicking your mouse. After you've created the map, you can save it, print it or send the image to a friend -- or get driving directions... OK, maybe it's more practical to create a map with your favorite golf courses! Still, you get the idea. For step-by-step directions, go to the Map and Directories section of PikeNet's Web Resources (left-hand column of home page).

2. Web Success Story: Winstack... Ted Stearns of WinStack recently cemented a software sale by e-mailing sample files and templates back and forth between his firm and Columbia/HCA. Here's the story. Columbia needed to generate occupancy plans quickly for an investment package. Columbia had previously seen WinStack's output because Columbia's property managers, Trammell Crow and PM Realty, used it. Here's the way Todd Maxwell of Columbia describes it:

"Columbia/HCA, the nation's largest healthcare provider, is in the processof transferring ownership of the majority of its owned Medical Office Buildings. As a part of the associated Due Diligence work, the company needed a property-stacking plan for each building. The WinStack software created by Real Pro-Jections, Inc. was acquired for this task. The system was easily installed, and a link was created between WinStack and our MRI database. 140 vertical stacking plans with color-coded lease expirations were created and finalized within 2-3 days! These stacking plans have been incorporated as part of a potential investor library to better show the current status of the office buildings."
