1. Bamboo.com... Gary Breen, a broker with Colliers International in Oakland, is a big proponent of bamboo.com's picture technology. For $147 he gets four 360-degree images of a property placed on LoopNet, which is where he lists the property. All he does is to give bamboo.com the address and they do the rest -- shooting the picture, processing it and uploading it to LoopNet's site. Check out this link to one of his listings, Ball Corporation's 214,000 sq. ft. industrial building in Hayward, CA. Click "Virtual Tour" in the left-hand column and you'll see four views -- interior and exterior (front, back and side). Cool.

2. The Taxman's Knocking... Curious about how much you'll owe in tax after representing all those dot-com companies? Check out Quicken.com's TurboTax Estimator for U.S. Federal taxes. It's recommended by Eric Powers at NAI as a neat financial planning aid for independent contractors. Note: You must have your browser "Javascript enabled." Huh? For Internet Explorer users, this means you'll need to click Tools / Internet Options / Advanced (tab). Then scroll down to the Java VM category and make sure that the "Java logging enabled" box is checked. Oh, thanks again, Bill.

Question... What are your favorite web sites? How do you use them? Send e-mail to me , and I'll report more in a future Dispatch.
